Referrals

If your child needs a referral to a specialist, we are happy to help you coordinate this.  Once the need for sub-specialty care is determined by one of our providers, our Referrals Coordinator will work with the specialist’s office to obtain the appointment for you.  As soon as the appointment has been made, the Referrals Coordinator will contact you with the details.  Please be aware that you are responsible for knowing your insurance’s referrals guidelines for referrals and the "in-network" or "out-of-network" status of the specialty provider.
 
If you have questions about your referral, do not hesitate to call our office at 843-573-2535.  Please note it may take up to 5 business days to process your referral.
